Major Development, Inc. is a diverse construction company. We specialize not only in single family custom homes, but we also develop and build custom multi-family residences in downtown Santa Fe. With our development experience, no job is too large or complicated for us to execute efficiently. Additionally, we’ll soon be launching a commercial division with its primary focus on custom office condominiums.

Since our inception in 1997 our goal has been to be contractor friendly and environmentally friendly. Before green was even a real concept, Major Development, Inc. was utilizing Rastra, an insulated concrete form made from recycled plastic and concrete. We have been building entire homes out of these forms for over 11 years. Major Development, Inc. also builds custom adobe homes. Adobe bricks are made out of dirt and straw, the original earth friendly material.

On the interior, Major Development has become known for our spectacular personalized finishes. Focusing particularly on our stone and tile combinations we work diligently to combine colors, textures and tones to create warm welcoming spaces with their own personality and zest. It is our philosophy that your home should be an extension of you rather than a generic structure.
